Hello! Ok, I just got to say - IT WAS AWESOME!!!!
:clappp

For us it was 3 days full of fun, laughs, flying, did I say fun!!! I don't believe you could have found anyone there in a bad mood - well ok, maybe the two souls that had fire mishaps - but I bet they would even tell you they had a great time! The only thing that would have made it more fun would have been to camp there - which we plan to do next year.

I didn't know what to expect. It is one HUGE fun fly that happens to have some really incredible demos during the lunch hour, fun contests, vendors to ask questions (they were all very helpful and happy to discuss their products), and the main focus - HAVE FUN!
:banana :cheers

IRCHA is to be commended on the handling of the event - they did a wonderful job. I can't believe there were 501 pilots there !!!!!

We met many new friends and ran into many friends we have met in the last few months at other heli events. We didn't win any of the REALLY GREAT raffle items - but the hubby mechanic was quick on the fly catch and I came home with a hand air brushed fiberglass canopy for my TRex!!!!!! Unbelievable! Oh and I lost my training gear on the Swift - finally - and loved it!!!

Malorie had an incredible demo - it was great to get to meet her - you think the videos of her flying are good, wait till you see her fly in person. Hello Mal if your reading!
:fly

We'll be there again next year!

Once you camp you will see the other half of Ircha :smokin:

Be prepared to have even more fun all night long.

kj and tj, I am SO jealous! One of these years I'll make it. Somehow we've got to get stationed on the east coast next!!!

Warner Robins AFB is a good one, so is Shaw AFB...
Will suck for AP work unless you can sell pics of pine trees to someone.

Funny you should mention Warner Robins...we're considering that one.

As long as we don't have to go to another super tanker base next, it is all good!

Hmmm...Shaw AFB, I wonder what planes, if any, hey have there?

Hello Malorie.

I had a great time chatting with you too. You inspire me. :) It really felt good to get past the training gear - I lost it on my TRex today also - it was very liberating.

Now I just need to get more comfortable with side in hovers on the sim so that I can try it on the real thing. But I know it will come, just need to give it time.

There's never any rush to learn. Just keep having fun and the progress will follow.

Best of luck,
Malorie

OH, and congrats on liberating Rexy. :)
