Ran across this a couple days ago and I'm intrigued:

Anyone got one of these and care to comment?

There are several large build/review threads over at one of the other RC forums. I don't know if it's ok to link to other forums here. Anway people seem to like them a lot. Very nice, very micro helis. I think Hobby People is supposed to be selling them soon here in the US under the name Mini-Shogun.

I've read a couple threads on RCG about 'em and it looks to be well made and about 2/3 the size of a Blade CP.. Looks like the perfect size to fly around the shop at work but I'm hesitant o drop the $$ on it until I can get some 1st hand knowledge..

Thx!

Hi, I did a review a few posts down in this thread called "Pixy Zap Fever."
It's a really fun heli, just got wooden blades which made a big difference, and ordered CNC rotorhead and a wider tail bearing. Tail wag has been a problem but the new bearing $5.25 should fix it. When it comes available I'l put a cnc tail on it. It's a blast to fly and even handles light wind. I got mine form Helihobby, Hobbypeople.net will get it soon as the Shogun Midget and theirs comes stock with a brushless.

I saw the local Hobby People had one in stock, but didn't take much of a look at it as I was a little irked at the guy who told me they had a part I was looking for in stock and when I showed up, it was nowhere near the part I'd asked for.

Not the 1st time those kids behind the counter have done that.

I'm still considering this or the HeliDirect HDX300 for my next indoor/outdoor "toy".

I'll have a look at your review. Thx.

I like the looks of the HDX300 as well. I think an all cnc machine would definitely outperform the Pixy Zap, but if you want the smallest, this is it. I use mine for sport flying and it's a blast. The thing is, you have to save weight everywhere possible on this, and maybe the HDX300 would allow more battery options?

Cost-wise the HDX300 is almost twice the cost of the Zap when ready to go, but there's something to be said for all CNC parts...

Still, having something even smaller than my Blade CP for bombing around the living room and out in the yard would be cool..

Decisions, decisions....
