Here are my somewhat wordy directions to get to the 107th field:

Take Rt. 1 South to the Rt. 60 rotary. The Revere Cinema is along the right side of the exit ramp. Go half way around the rotary to get on Rt. 60 East This is actually the back way in to Logan Airport, so you will see signs to that effect.

Continue past the Sheraton (I think?) hotel and the Northgate shopping center on your left. The next rotary is for Rt. 107. Go three-quarters of the way around to pick up Rt. 107 North. Just as you pass the Atlantic Lobster (now closed) look immediately to your left. You should see a low metal gate. That is the entrance to the 107th field.

You will have to go a mile or so up the road to a U-turn area. That will be just before Resco (big incinerator facility with a tall smoke stack on the right). Make the U-turn and come all the way back down.

When you reach the Atlantic lobster, get in the break-down lane and slow down. It's easy to drive past the gate. Turn in to the access road and come all the way to the back. You can't miss us. :)

Map is attached.

With any luck I'll be there on Sunday to help Steve trim the weeds and cut some of the surrounding grass. We want the helipad ready for training and engine tuning. The runway will be divided into several flight stations for the more adventerous flyers. :) Steve already confirmed that we have people coming from at least three other states, including some turbine action!

Just to update the map in my previous post, the GPS coordinates of the entrance to the field is at 42° 25' 57.81" N 70° 59' 47.24" W

As described above, we are on the South side of a divided road. If are driving on the Northbound side of Rt.107, you'll have to make a U-turn at the jug handle and drive back to the entrance.

Google Earth KMZ file is attached.
