I have a futaba 9c super and am using a 146IP reciever in pcm mode. Can I use the crystal from my 127DF reciever in the 146IP? My radio came with a 127DF on channel 43. I would like to use the smaller reciever if possible. As the 146IP came with no crystals, I thought I could use the 43 crystal from my 127DF. I do not have any signal at all with the antenna down.

The 127 DF uses a Dual Conversion crystal.


the 146iP uses a single conversion crystal.

You can not use the dual conversion crystal in a single conversion receiver.

You will need to order the shorty single conversion crystal listed in the add above.

Yup you need a Futaba single conversion short crystal for the 146iP after that it works like a champ.
