Power used vs. Power back into pack.

Hi, I've been wondering how close the m.a.hrs. put back into a pack is compared to what you used. It would seem that since now real amount of heat is given off by the pack when charged that it is quite efficient on recharge. Any comments? I have an Align 16c 2100 that did'nt reach voltage cutoff on my TREX and it took 2450mah with (so far) no ill effects at all. It charges to the exact same voltage and holds its charge. Did I get a great battery???

Is that on a balance charge or a simple charge ?

Ken, that was with a TP 425 charger and the 205 balancer connected. It may have sat for up to an hour after it charged before I disconnected it so a few more MAmps went into it but not much. I've noticed that on my charger. Once a bat is charged and the charger stops it goes into a kind of stay-topped mode right at 12.54 to 12.56 v. on a 3s pack.

I've since flown it again and put back 1950 ma with the bat returning to the same voltage of 12.54 full. The next day voltage was 12.53 and took 45 ma to top off. :noteworthy :noteworthy

You should aim to put back about 1700mah. You should shorten your flights
by about 1min.

Thanks U.V. I'm curious as to why the L.V. warning didn't happen when I took the 2450 mah out. I've got it set for the deepest discharge but I wasn't hovering, I was tooling around the sky pretty good. :arggg:

Just curious , have you all done ESC mods on the Align ESC's? I did a 1/2 mod . In the ESC mod forum. Pic in my gallery. If you've got an X or XL where are you mounting the ESC. Mine on side in the fan breeze -- see gallery "ooohyeah" pic.
Stays about 85-95 degrees max! :glasses2:
