is it ever gonna happen, i will wait for it, if it does, im getting this incredible urge to have a 90 e bird, i would rather wait for outrage to come out with it then to go with something else:cheers

it will probably be a while, I would think the Nitro 90 would be out before Charley makes and "E" version

Foxden,
I would like to know if there is going to be a 600 electric. Any word?

Velocity 90 is next, i wouldn't expect this to come out until early next year. No reason you couldn't convert it to an electric at the time. Dedicated 90E machines are VERY rare and are almost always conversions from nitro kits.

True for now, but Avant are set to release a 90E in November, and Blitz Avro are working on an F3C 90E for next season. That's two more to add to the Henseleit, and I'm sure there is talk of a new Century 90E.
Electric is the way its going, maybe 90 size is still a bit 'specialised'; until that is, Align release a T700E, although knowing them they will probably make it 6S:rolling

From what i heard align won't be releasing the 700E, I'm actually surprised they are working on a 700G, i think there are ALOT of pilots who would benefit from a gasser.

Yeah, the 700G looks interesting - problem is their team pilots can make anything look amazing, and I'm sure the 700G will be no exception, but I'd have to give one a test fly before I buy, in case its a bit of a brick in my hands!

From what i have witnessed from seeing ALOT of heli pilots this year i don't think most ppl are best fitted with a 3D machine, even thought they all think they need one. I learned a bit of this earlier this year, I had my Outrage helis setup like i had my align heads, maxed out the cyclic speed. They just didnt fly well at all, Foxden suggested i reduce the cyclic and a whole new world of flying was opened up. A machine needs to be setup and tailored to the pilot, not so Szabos can fly it. My 550 is setup to be very quick, my V50 is on advanced settings but it still slower. While my 550 is more fun to fly the 50 is easier to fly and i learn more on it.

Absolutely true:thumbup::noteworthy
i used to think more headspeed=better machine:P, now i know its about the combination of optimum pitch at the optimum headspeed, nothing more and nothing less, the art of collective and cyclic management and setting up proper mechanics and power on the bird.
However i still want an outrage 90 electric that can fly at 100 mph like the Henseleit :lolol
