I have a lepton in the box that I will be starting to build shortly. I have two questions, one I have a 8 turn hyperion,80 amp cc and have bought an external bec.3.5 amp what do you think of this setup,? I will be doing mostly scale flying with some loops and rolls.
Second I have already got a TP 3s2p 4200 pack it is 107mm long,34mm high and40mm wide will it fit ok ?????thanks, Bob

That will be a good setup for the type of flying you are wanting to do.
That pack will fit just fine.

I did not think anyone would answer, I was really stressing about the pack.

I see a lot of people running the FlightPower 4s 3700 packs with great results as well.

Bob,
A 3S setup with the 8T hyperion motor is a pretty good setup. I flew a friend of mines using 2 Apex 2100's in parallel = 3S2P 4200.
While I am no 3D monster and this was the very first flight on his heli, this video will show you a little bit how that setup will fly.
VIDEO -> first test flight on Jack726 3S setup (42 Megs) (http://video.helifreak.com/?subpath=finless/lepton&filename=lepton_test3s.wmv)
Now it does not have the raw power my 4S setup does but it has plenty of power to do just about anything you want. I was actually expecting less and was pleasently suprised by this setup.
I have yet to see anyone else with a 3S setup as most have gone 4 or 5S but I think you will do just fine with the 3S for what you want to do as Mudbogger has said.
