Hi all,
Well i'm getting there with my HB cp2 after about 1 month of training and crashing. so far have gone through about 4 sets of blades, 2 sets have been the carbon fibre type. a few boom strikes, have ment i have now fitted the alloy boom and twin tail motor.
Have re balanced almost everything a few times now and am getting quite good at it now.
I can get it hover in quite a small area now, but it seems to just want to rotate clockways all the time, even with almost full right rudder.
the tail motors are quite new, and i did run them in for about 15 minutes on a low battery. I have used wd40 (3in1 oil for those non uk people), but it still doesn't seem to help.
Could it be down to the slightly shorter ally boom? the twin motor tail bearings do seem a little stiff, but i put that down to a very low weight of the carbon rod that the blade sits on. It has got enough power to turn the heli on the floor and in the air, but it just seems to struggle.
Any idea's?
Cheers
Nick
