I spend my last day to build Trex 600 ESP to do a AP business at weekend. I set the ESC to 1-2-2-2-1, then try to spool up. It just oscillated the motor a few times and produced smoke..
I was thinking the tellers did something wrong, but saw that they are right.. It's a crap..

Sorry you fell pray to the curse of the "Firestarter", hope there isn't much damage.

or if your staying on 6S look into the ICE 100

Funny guys.. Nice point of view.. :)
I opened another thread.. I was using 6S and planning to go 12S so I bought CC85HV, which also burned :) and I opened it, and saw that it was the same reason..

There are other hobbies out there, like stamp collecting. (less fires) ;)

Are these things burning up due to poorly soldered connections or what? I hear a lot of stories of these things smoking at first spoolup. You'd think months of hard flying and overheating would cause it to go bad, but I don't hear many stories of them dying this way.
