Asking your thint,

About the tail, I think we all agree -> it must be something much better, than what Hirobo suggests on the site (http://model.hirobo.co.jp/english/index.html), .24s/60deg is probably way to slow. I plan to use S9254/401 combo, saw some threats about how to fit this, and hope it's not going to be too painful

Then about the CCPM, I have JR - DS362 is the only digital, speed 0.24 ... not really nice ? What is your experience with 0.24 with such a heli (BTW, I fly some 'mild' 3D, not Curtis style ...). I saw some recommendations about HS85MG as well, but I'd assume for CCPM digital is really important, isn't it ? So basically I'd trade accuracy vs. speed, what do you think ?

Thanks a lot, DS3781 seems to be very nice - Graupner, wonder what the JR code is for that one.

Do you have recommendations (from JR) for the CCPM as well ? The only one, which is digi and fast (0.19s/60deg), is actually the DS361. All others are around 0.24s/60deg - and not digital. I have understood, for CCPM digital is quite essential - elsewhise analog ones do not strictly (not as good as digital) to their position.

Sorry, i don't have more info for cyclic servos. My interest for the Lepton right now is to steal his rotor to put it on my Voyager E. So no need to change servos for that. Just from the washout to the yoke. i'm keeping the K&S swashplate.

But about The DS3781, i never found it under a JR ref number. Looks like it's a special servo made for Graupner. And that is bad news for me because it would have been a lot cheaper, probably, ordered as a JR servo directly in Japan.

I see, never mind - anyway I also still fly JR V.E. (brushless, full of upgrades K&S and Quick Japan), there I am using DS3401, they're quite good, tell me how the LEX blades work on VE, as I am using MS Composite now, difficult to get in Tokyo.

I may order only the rotor head, without any blades. So if i do this i wont be able to test the LEX blades on the VE. I'm also using MS420 carbon blades for now. I also have a set of aluminum M-blades. 440mm long. Well, it's the most beautiful blades i hever had. Nothing to balance, perfect! and i tried very hard to found something to balance. Same for the ones i have on my raptor 50. But as far as i know the company disapeared last year. With M-blades the VE is flying like a 30 class heli. Very smooth ans stable.

Anyone tried Ds3401 (http://www.modelflight.com.au/jr_rc/jr_ds_3401_servo.htm)
26.5 x 15 x 33 mm ?
