JR9303 and GY401 setup

I have a JR PCM9X II (same as 9303 I believe) and a Trex 450 w/GY401.

Bob's videos are fantastic and I tried to follow them for setup. But the video is focused more on the Futaba radio.

I have also read that I need to use channel 7 for Gyro while I have it set up for ch 4 and 5 according to the radio manual. It works, but I'm sure it could work better. I can for instance not adjust sensitivity from the radio (but do I need to?)

install the remote gain from the gyro on channel 5 and adjust gain through end points.
Channel 7 is used if you are using a governor, and WANT to use the gyro sense menu, and the governor menu.
I personally think the gyro sense menu sucks for a 401, at least there are alternative programming methods...

http://www.raptortechnique.com he has the setup for the Raptor and that radio, it should be very similar to the trex.

Thanks for your help. I read the instructions on the URL you gave me and it looks like I wasn't too far off.
