Hi guys . I'm using JR 1400 Mah Ni-CD 4.8V RX battery pack and I can make at most 4 or 5 flights with this battery . I need a higher capacity pack but I am not able to rely on Ni-mh packs because of the voltage drop problem .

I'm using three JR 8321 servos , one JR 811 throttle servo , one JR 8700G rudder servo with JR G7000T radio .

What is your advice to me about which RX battery pack should I use ?

Thanks for the replies...

I'm suprised you get that many flights from that pack.

you can use NiMH packs but you have to get correct packs like the subC or
4/5subC type high discharge packs like GP2200 (or 2400) cells.

or of course, there's Lithium 2400 (Fromeco) or 4800

With the lithium packs you will need a regulator. I run the Duralite Regulators with very good success and either Li-Ion or Li-Po packs.

The battery above is OK. But it weighs over 10 ozs. That is a lot of weight for a heli to be hauling around. You can get a li-ion that is 4000-4400mah and regulator. And you will only add 7 ozs of weight. Plus you will have constant voltage to the servos from the first flight off a fresh charge till the 8th or 9th flight.
