CF Frame problems [Archive]

Hello everyone. I have a Shogun V2 wich is blinged out and it has a carbon fibre frame . the problem is i cant find a mounting spot on the frame for the canopy. What do i do? Any suggestions on where to mount?

get a battery extension plate, then put valcro on the underside of your battery tray and on the opposing side of the canopy.
that holds my canopy on fine. I don't bother with any side attachment points

I gave it a shot but there were a few problems. As you can see the is no spot to screw in the battery plate. Since there are no holes i had to Velcro the the plate to the frame. That made it not very stable. Also, i had to Velcro the canopy to the plate which wasn't very stable which made it all wobble.(I used industrial Velcro....supposed to be the good stuff.) I'm not sure what to do :arggg: . I am also still looking for other ideas on how to fix this problem...please help.

i drilled a hole in either side and put rubber bushings in them. then slid a metal rod through.
