Great way to start. That was my first heli, and now I have a 50. If you can afford the extra money from the start just get a 50. No matter what you get always find some help. Just to keep things safe. :)

That is the heli that I still fly althought I just crashed it and am in the process of rebuilding. I also bought an OS 37 engine for it, but other than that its all stock and it flys great. I am fairly new to helis myself, I have been flying for about a year and a half and I am doing some basic arobatics so I am sure you will be happy with it. My friend at the flying field also has a raptor 30 v2 wtih the os 37 and he does full 3D flying.

While you're at it for just over $20 you can get the bearing upgrade, PV0091, that replaces the bushings in many of the small moving parts. With this relatively inexpensive upgrade you have converted your sport 30 into a pro 30 for much less than the difference in the price of the two helicopters.
