Well I thought why not, give it a try. I took apart the L14 tail tonight and gave it a go. I got it all put back together now but ran into a few roadblocks and thought to share them with you.
First of all when you get the Logo 20 front tail drive pulley ready, take a dremel sander or some rough grit and take about 1-2 mm from the top ring above belt off, if you do not you will see later that it will rub against the main gear. Now also before putting the boom blocks back into the frame take a small round file and file out those grooves about 1.5 to 2mm ahead, not up and down or back just ahead on each slot. I found out you have to do this in order to get good mesh. Of course this is all because you are using another main gear to replace the normal 200 tooth one, and yes it has a bigger OD of course than the main gear which is 138. I have done the mod if you call it that and will test it tommorrow, I did notice on the table it does in fact freewheel better for sure.
None of this is a big deal but surely less hassle if you know up front to sand and take off abit here and there rather than going through what I did to find this all out.
Have fun.
