Hi folks,
I am building my first heli, a TREX 450SE and I have been watching Bob's videos devotedly! I have the 3 forward servos in place, and am going through CCPM setup, but I get no response from the servos when I activate the radio (a JR 9303). I have the speed controller connected to the receiver and the Thunder Power LiPo battery, the servos plugged into their spots in the receiver, and the radio set in heli mode. The servos don't move. What have I not hooked up right? Is there a diagram of how all the wiring plugs together?
Thanks for all your help, all, and especially Bob and Rdlohr (I have ordered your gyro plate for the SE). Look forward to flying the SE soon. I am currently practising on my little Blade CX and getting quite good (uh oh scary).

With everything hooked up including the battery, disconnect the links from the servos and try to move one of the arms. If the servo starts to buzz and you can't move the arm then you know you are getting power to the receiver. If you can move them and they don't buzz the nyou have something hooked up wrong and you are not getting any power to the receiver.

If you are getting power check to make sure you have the corect modulation selected on the radio. If you have a FM receiver then make sure the 9303 is set to FM. If you have a PCM reciever then make sure the 9303 is set to PCM.

Off the top of my head, those are the only things I can tell you to check.

What channel are you connecting the speed control into? It needs to go to the throttle channel on the receiver. I don't know if that will stop the servos from working but it is something else to check.

Thanks you guys. I went in to my hobby shop and we pored over the problem. Finally my heli guy changed out the crystals in the transmitter & receiver. Turns out the crystals were malfunctioning...! We put in freq 47 from a freq 35. Works fine, now. Onwards and upwards! -Tony.
