Smackdown of the South II
AMA Sanction #06-1973
R/C Helicopter Funfly - October 13th, 14th, and 15th
LOCATION
Cobb County Radio Control Modeler's Club
Directions:
2302 Pitner Rd Nw Acworth, GA 30101-4477
Flying begins at dawn each day. AMA membership required. Food and drinks will be available. REAL restrooms on site!! The event is AMA sanctioned and there will be a $25 landing fee. This is a very relaxed fun fly with no contests unless someone wants to have one. We have two flight lines, one for scale helis and another for 3D or FAI. The flight line will stay open all day so bring your case of fuel …. We are going to burn every bit of it!!

Working on a place for RV's and night flying at my other club - Bartow County. About 10 minutes from this field and GREAT place to fly as well. Might be a parking charge but hell, it's cheaper than a hotel :)
Will get back with specs by end of weekend.

Me too. I was already committed to Cookville and I can't make both. Oh well, maybe next year.

Sorry you guys can't make it... it's really hard to schedule around other events these days. I guess thats just a sign of our hobby growing strong! I'm looking forward to seeing everyone. Weather looks crisp.. 66 degrees and Sunny for Saturday.
