I've had a Micron FP for about a month.

It's a great machine - no doubt. I've had a few ups and downs.

These are the items that have been broken during the last few weeks.

1. Main spur gear M035. Striped thread of two of these
2. Tail motor mount M009. Fin snapped off
3. Swash Driver Assm M013. Top are broke in half
4. Flybar arms M019. The image below helos explain this one.

The small grub screw that clamps the arm to the flybar causes the plastic to split open. This is due to the hole being too smaller diameter. I have purchased three sets of these and each time the diameter of the hole where the grub screw is screwed into is too small causing the plastic to split open.

5. Tail Motor M024. Burned out. It started playing up as the motor began to be inconsistant causing the tail to swing wildly. After much messing with the gyro I finally worked out that it was the motor burning out. I's probably lasted about 30 flights.
6. Struts. M006. Broke about 3 pairs of these. The clips actually are very weak an break. You really need to CA these to the main chassis.

That's about it really.

Yes it is really a nightmare to fly, I'm guessing due to the low head speed.

It does do quite well when bashed against furniture and I've never broken a blade or the boom.

Anyway I just thought I would share my experiences with you all as it's about time I gave something back to the group I have got so much from.

Happy flying

Barry
