Need opinion on Stingers...

I've been thinking about getting a Stinger 90 but I am use to flying Raptors. I have a Raptor 70 and a 30. How does the stinger compare with the Raptor in performance, durability, and cost verses the Raptor. It seems like it is a little cheaper but is the reliability there?? Thanks!!

The stinger is a good heli, much lower cost as well, i had to pick up some parts at my lhs that gohbee did not have in stock and the price difference was like 50.00 for the parts that would cross over to the stinger, very reliable as well, i have 2 stinger 90 also had 2 stinger50s and a stinger 30, just wanted to move to the big helil, for the money and all that comes with stinger 90 you cant beat it, go and give the gohbee a chance you will like them. perfomance is very much alike altho the under slung fly bar gives the stingers a better feel to me, they roll and loop very fast out of the box in the stock set up. scott

I am looking at the 90 with the YS90 and CF blades. Does anyone know if the 90 comes with the all metal head? The link they show really has no info and I haven't gotten an answer to my email I sent them. Does it come with a muffler??

the stinger 90 and 60 dont come with mufflers, odd that you have not gotten a reply from gohbee, I met David again at the Owatana Fun Fly this last weekend again, he had rembered me after meeting him 2 years ago, i just put the ys 91 in my stinger 90 and its nice flying.

forgot to say that yes the 90 dose come with the metal head as well.

Gohbee comes from factory with lot of upgrades and have many options with CF blades and Fiberglass canopies for le$$. I have Stinger 90 and is really good. I complete them RTF and save more than $500 if I compare with same level model from other trades. Also I use the Gohbee 50 size model and I prefer them over my Titan (better cyclic response). All I can say is that I prefer Raptor/EVO50 until I test the Stinger 50, now I'm Gohbee Field Rep... If you're interested in order from Gohbee use 0223TD field rep code for extra % discount. Check my Gallery. The Stinger combine Raptor frame and EVO style head, the best of two worlds. Any model has cons. or opportunities for improvements. Thanks. What do you think of the Curtis Muffler for the 90 on the Gohbee website? Is it a decent muffler??

I have the curtis pipe on my stinger now , i have used it with a os 91 and now i have a YS 91 in the heli and the pipe works very well with the heli, i have my other stinger not just ready yet but i a YS 80 and century 90 pipe on that one.
