Default Main Frame change

One of the canopy mounts broke off the main frame. I'm thinking of doing a frame change. I assume the main gear just pops off the main shaft, and the main motor pulls out of the frame. How hard is it to remove those parts? My tail motors (even modded) don't seem to last long. Anyone else have that problem?
Thanks.

Yep, everything just slides out. You may have to press the motor out using the eraser side of a pencil, but other than that, it's straight forward. Don't forget the bearings! They just press out and press in, as well.

As far as the tail motor end cap problem goes... yeah, it still can pop out using the heat shrink mod. I'm using self-fusing tape right now and haven't had an issue, yet. Nothing is permanent in my experience, though.

I've reduced my number of FFF crashes into stationary objects such that I've only replaced my tail once -- and that was during my first week of ownership. Now landing gear...I've broken that twice!

I haven't broken the landing gear; YET. Canopy mount broken from removing the canopy too much I think. I mod the tail motor before use, but they just seem to slow down and "burn out" on me. End up with pirouets when lifting off no matter what rudder I use. Maybe it's something I'm doing?
I'm just learning , so I'm hard on parts. Third tail, third set of grips and blades, second 5 in1. Thankfully the MSR is cheap and easy to fix. Gotta love it.

I added CA to motor before heatshrink then dribbled some in the end onto the end cap no problems yet althrough most of my crashes are nose in to walls. I'm amazed the beatting this canopy can take.
