Will the 75A esc not read a 5s battery??? I tried to hook up a 5s to mine and I've got
nothing no beeps, no blurps, or eeks:arggg: After the last crash, I hope it didn't break.
I dont see why it wouldnt read a 5s but...
Any Ideas???

Did you have it plugged into the motor?
The esc its self doesn't make the beeps its the motor that actually beeps.

It is plugged in to the motor, but I have no idea which wire goes where on the motor.
I had no idea that it was the motor that beeps:oops: Thats funny maybe my motor took a :BSS I will check the wiring going into the motor and make sure that nothing broke.
Anybody know what wire on the motor goes to what color on the ESC???

Connect it however you like, try it very gently - if it goes backwards swap any 2 leads and it will go the other way

how do the motors beep?
The esc makes the motor vibrate, producing sound.

well I checked my soldering and found one connection that was bad, I fixed it but I still have no power. I guess I will have to order a new motor and esc, as I have no way to tell which one is bad:arggg::arggg::arggg::arggg::arggg::arggg::mad: :mad::mad::thumbdown::thumbdown::thumbdown::b omb::bomb::bomb::DH:DH:DH
Well at least I can have fun with the Faces:Bang

did you try switching the wires? you can't do any damage if they're in the wrong way unless you try flying it if the blades are spinning backwords ;)

Yeah I tried them all sorts of ways including sideways and I still got nothing. So on
goes the search for a new motor and maybe a new esc:arggg::arggg:

does your regulator power the reciever? or are you using a BEC?
maybe the esc sees it as too low a voltage to do anything.....

you can always borrow a motor from your lhs if they have some laying around and test it with your esc (or borrow an esc and test your motor) that way you can isolate the prob a little better.
if you're in the market, look at the z-power brand. very good and efficient, which will be good if you're flying 5s especially. z30 will be more similar to what you were flying (1100kv range)

well, I found an electrafly 1100kv motor for realy cheap.
From what I can find out about it, is that it is the 1400w motor according to their
website, if this dosent fix the problem then I guess, I will get an ice lite for an esc and
then a CF frame will follow very shortly.
I will post when I find out what happens.

OK, the ICE 75a is installed:happyd WE HAVE FLIGHT:Bang HS is higher than expected but I'm OK with that I might put the 500mm blades that I have on it and see if that is any better.
The ICE is great, fully progamable, wicked cool :Bliss:fly
