View Full Version : Stuka's Hyperion Fan test

OK folks.....

Stuka made a fan for the Hyperion motor. I recall a few weeks back debating if this fan would actually do enough to make a difference. Well I guess I get to eat a little crow (it happens)....

So Stuka was nice enough to send me one for testing. The results?

Well I saw almost a 20 degree drop in motor temps! I expected a few degrees but not this much based on the fan design and my understanding of how effecient it might be. Well live and learn ;)

Stuka has a HOT product here for all hyperion users! The video says it all and here it is.

Anybody knows where I can get a replacement fan for my H3025-10? Busted mine on a crash and having a hard time finding it on the net. I sent a PM to Stuka but didn't get any reply.. must be busy. Also I'm not sure if Stuka's fan for the Z3025-10 is the same with H3025-10. I'm flying here in the ME and at present 95-110ºF temps I'm surely gonna need a fan :(

We've try to get them stand alone from aircraft-world but they wont supply just the fan :arggg:

Hmm.. I hope I don't have to buy another motor :roll: Hopefully Stuka would start on making em again. Thanks Jafa!

Looking at Stuka's profile he hasnt been on since June 18... I would hang tight and wait till he responds.

Fan came in the mail :) excellent work Cris, looks even better than the original fan that came with my H3025-10. It also has more blades and I'm sure cooling would be greatly improved.
