I have a JR Venture 30 with a Webra .35 engine in it. I'm having a problem getting a decent head speed. I used a cheap optical tach to see what the head speed was and it was only 1250. I'm using cool power 30% fuel and running 550 woodies, my throttle curve is:
6 25 75 89 100
I get a lot of smoke from the muffler and the backplate on the engine gets warm but not hot, you can hold your finger on it for about 6 seconds. So, do I need to lean the engine out a little bit more or should I up some of the values on my throttle curve?
