Maybe not the correct forum, but figured since it's an ap bird, plus you guys are pretty damn smart!
OK_ Logo 10. Originally I started with 5S emolis. With a 20T I was only getting around 1600 rpm so i switched to the 23T today raising to 1900. Then I tried running a 5s2p emoli and wow, the rpm went thru the roof! So this tells me that the emolis did not put out enough amperage in the 1p configuration. I could drop back to a 20T but now I'm wondering if I'd be better off going with a 4s2p emoli for weight savings, plus the motor came down around 175 and the esc was 150, plus side is the batteries were pretty cool. For what it's worth, I was pulling 27 amps at hover with the 5s1p getting 7 minutes total max, drawing around 2200 mAh out of the pack. I have no test results from the 2p set up as I had to steal some connectors off the meter to make the pigtails. Any advise?
BTW: Hacker a30-8xl, Hacker opto 70 pro (ha- ha!)

Yeah, get one of those prodigy packs that DJ has been flying on his logo.

$99 for 5s5000mah 10C pack. Save yourself a ton of weight over 5s2p emolis.

http://prodigybatteries.com/products/

PRD50005S10C PRD26 18.5V 5000 $99.99

DJ said they are working out good for AP flights, and for $99 you can't beat that and 5000 should give plenty of runtime.

Since this is a logo setup thread, I'll add a question to it.

I need a beater heli and was thinking of picking up the logo.

What size servos does this thing take?

Will full size servos fit?

Thanks,

They also have a 8000mAh for $129, but there was no where to order on the site, I sent an email. You can use full size servos but you have to cut out the servo mount areas. I went with 3102 for the price and they fit perfect with no cutting. Funny, a logo "beater"! My logo is the flagship, the trex is the beater

the weight on the 8000 would be quite large. I think the 5000's are 598 grams.

Well I mean a beater heli in general. My ERaptor 50 is my camera ship, and I fly it for nothing else but photo shoots.

I need something to take out for a spin. I've considered trex, but it might be too small for me. Gary's logo A30 combo is a good deal for the size of heli it is.

the 8000's are huge and heavy. I have seen them. it's a "no-go" for the logo. (hey that ryhmed :? )

full size servos are a no-go also. I tried and ruined a set of frames trying to cut them larger.

I'm a dealer for Prodigy, but I'm not getting my first packs in until Monday. I'd ordered some for myself and some to sell...and the ones for sale are pretty well spoken for.

I've got most of my working funds tied up in getting the camera ship going right now, so I haven't "stocked up" on prodigies. If there's enough demand, I'll get a good stock going in the near future...so if there's more of you that want Prodigy packs, please PM me.

(had to find and read HF's policies on "dealer" postings before submitting this...)
