Pinion?????

So...
You just got a new Himax brushless...
You want to put the GWS pinion on it but the pinion is too big and doesnt
grab the shaft and just spins....
What do you use to secure bigger ID pinions than than the brushless motor shafts????

You use smaller ID pinions :D I know some people using these for helis have been getting pinions which just slide onto the shaft, the company selling the pinions also includes some kinda of ultra-mega-mondo loctite to hold them on (green?) Personally I wouldn't feel comfortable unless I had to use a vise to put it on or if the pinion had a set screw.

It was tight at first...within the first 2 flights it LOOSENED up... now you can slide it on and off.
Would red hold it on??? I have also heard of solder it on???
