I'll be there!!! and I don't want to give a name and spoil it in case he changes his mind, but I think I have convinced another well known pilot to join us.

Hey Folks
I just wanted to say thanks, on behalf of us Canadians for the great time we had at the Brooks FF. The weather was perfect and we are all cranked up for more flying. Thank God for winter indoor flying!
This is a post I put on our local Club site, it is a little group specific but gives you a sense of how much fun we had.
COPIED FROM THE ERCHA WEB SITE

Hey Boys
Just got home from our trip to Brooks Oregon. It was for the Cascade Heli clubs 3D contest and Fun Fly. It is a short drive 3,521km. Worth every Mile!
Turns out 11 Canadians made the trip. 5 from Alberta and 6 from B.C. The total pilot count was about 80 pilots, and the Canucks took them to heli school!!!
Of the 7 events run, Canadians brought home 4 first place plaque's.
The field is a 2500ft grass runway with infant apple trees on either side, a bit of a challange for the meek. The event was very well run and the weather was perfect.
In 3D Trevor Zaharachuck and Bryan Regular from Calgary entered into the Advanced Freestyle 3D class. Bryan is in his first year as a heli pilot and God help us all if he continues at this pace. It was not his best flight of the weekend ( a bit of nerves as this was his first ever contest and the punk is only 16!! ) but he did some hard core 3D that had us all running for cover, amazing for his first year. He placed just out of the medals. "keep doing what your doing" next year the gloves come off!
Trever on the other hand brought out his A game on his P-Max 90 with a good mix of 3D and big sky stuff along with a death spiral that ended mere inches above the apple orchard treetops! Enough to earn the top spot in advanced freestyle 3D.
Congrats Trev.
In Expert class our local hero Leon Luke threw his Vibe at the ground with more than usual anger!! It was a great flight with a near miss that would have rattled any mere mortal into submission, but not Leon, he carried on even stronger than before, enough to win the expert class and send our friends on the west coast back to their simulators for more practice!!!
They also held drag races for micro electric's and an Unlimited Class. Though a bunch of Canadians entered Leon once again proved that wild power and a deadly steady hand will prevail!
Leon cleaned out the field of 6 determined drivers to take the top spot in micro with his angry little T-Rex 450.
In unlimited Leon Flew his T-Rex 600 against a field of strong nitro 50s and a few hot 90s only to prove that big is not always best! In the final round he soundly beat a vary well-flown and strong R-90 by at least 25 feet on the 600 foot course! What can I say but nice work Leon! ( NOTE: Leon has now been crowned the North West region's "Drag Queen" what an honor!!)
I must add that Curtis Y. and Doc. Scoles put on a duo night demo that was beyond description! At one point C Y is at stage center doing the chaos while the Doc. rips around him in a 90 mph hurricane with a crazy 360deg lightning fast piro right in front of himself!!! Half the guys watching got up out of their chair whimpering like children getting ready to run for cover! It was off the hook.
I will post a few pictures tomorrow night but for now I am off to sim!
Must practice, more to learn, must practice!
Once again conrats to Trevor and Leon for bring home the gold!!!
Cheers
END
Once again thanks for the great event and sorry for stealing some of your gold. But after such a long drive we needed somthing to show the Customs guards at the border!
Cheers and see you next Year

Dennis,
Great pictures and good summary of the event on your site.
It was great to finally get down there again after the number of years that I have not been able too. For years it was a bi-annual pilgramage with it being one of best (if not THE best) heli-event in the Northwest. It was great to see it is coming back to challenge for the honour again. Seeing you, Tom, John, Archie, Evelyn, Russ again sure brought back some great memories.
Of course seeing the other canucks (from the other side of the mountains :) was also a big plus for me - even though I saw them a number of times this summer, it is always fun to spend time with Leon, Trevor, Mark, Brian and Scott. Man they are keeners - to spend almost a 30 hours (total both ways) roadtrip to attend an event for 72 hours, means it must be an addiction :!: Thankfully it was only about a total 12 hour road trip for us B.C. attendees.
I have had the pleasure of seeing Curtis perform in both FAI & 3D many times - and every time I see him pump the sticks in 3D he always seems to have new stuff addeded to his large repetoire. The nice thing about watching someone of his talent and skill perform at a FunFly (relative to a contest), is that, at a funfly, he has more then just 3 or 4 minutes to perform a flight, so we are shown many interesting moves that we would not see in a contest situation. At a funfly is where he really shines.
The real highlite of the event for me was the nite demo flight of Curtis and Mike together. Beyond awesome. Gotta get them together for such a demo at IRCHA!!!
Leon - you really rocked
Trevor - well done
Scott - you should have entered the contest - your flying is really getting HOT!!
BrianR - Wow!! - and only 16. Stay away from the wimmin' - ride the helis :-))
Dennis and the Cascade club deserve a big round of applause - well done.
