Guys, I'm setting up my new titan and I'm having trouble with getting even + and - numbers on pitch.

I've built 6 helis before and so I should know what I'm doing. The radio is setup ok, straight 0% to 100% pitch curve, atvs 100% and sub trim 0.

The pitch servo is centred and the servo arm is level. The collective cradle & swash are level and I get 0 pitch at mid stick. Everything ok so far.

But I get +13 and -9 at full stick, I want +11 and -11.

If I modify the servo to collectve cradle link to get +11 and -11, mid stick is now +1 not 0.

I could set the mid stick to 0 and not worry about it but given that everything is equal it should mechanically give me the same + and - It's almost as though I'm getting some differential in the pitch servo movement.

Ah, a though. I copied the model on my radio from my Sceadu 50 as all the radio gear is the same - don't remember checking for any exponential or differential but I can't believe I have any on the Sceadu either. I will check though.

Other than that, anyone have any suggestions?

Not positive, but shorten the linkage on the swash. Or make it longer, my Titan is being repaired.

Mines the same way. I just use +- 10 via the pitch curve and use the extra positive in throttle hold.

Solved it, the servo arm wasn't quite level at mid stick which introduced a bit of differential. Must admit I thought I had checked this first.

Andy, by coincidence I've also now set mine to be +/-10.

Thanks guys for your comments.

Its easy to get more range if you want though....dremel and a metal tray......

No thanks  +/-11 is more than enough for me at this stage thanks.

I was more confused about the apparent difference between + and - given that everything else was equal or so I thought.
