Still getting all the little glitches out of my new setup and getting used the AP2000i essentially for the first time because it has been so overcast every other time I have flown. Worked pretty good I think. Still need to fine tune. Aileron Hold is solid with the AP already, working on getting the swash leveled still and trimmed for flying. About to put some 95mm V-Blades on the tail and balance it on my highpoint.
Having a hard time making my camera shoot a fast shutterspeed, the Optia A10. I am going to take up my 10D for a reality check after finding something like a 4000mah Duralite Ion pack to put on the HOR stab for a counter balance. ;)
It was a very hazy evening, but still think the shots could have come out better.

I will be going back out today and trying a few different settings on the A10 before switching to the 10D.
Thanks for the encouragement Mark!!

Take 2
Take 3 is after a recharge of the 5s2p EVO 20 5000's.
Take 2 pics are with Sport Mode, Focus on 2 clicks shy of infinity. EV comp is -1.
Take 3 pics will be with autofocus and infinity. There seem to be 5 clicks between each focus setting.... Trying to get this camera figured out. The machine seems to be vibe free, especially with the new V-Blades 95mm tail blades.

OK now for Take 3
Any better? Please let me know what you think.
These were at 400 Sensitivity (ISO I think) and and -1 on EV Compensation.
Charging now for take 4....
Thanks VERY much in advance for the help. This machine is basically the combo that TPPacks.com sells.
Thank you for your honest feedback!!

Hey Will,
Nice Pics.. Did you use the same camera for the heli closeup & outside pics? As the heli closeup are very sharp / crisp, the outdoor ones are just shirt of being right on..
Wondering if you may be getting a slight vibration? Try setting the heli on a table, blades not spinning; then shoot an image or two of something in the distance.
Compair those agains the ones you have.
Also try keeping the sun at the cameras back.
Happy flyin!! Hope to see you in Mooresville!!

you should run your FMA sensor further back on the boom so as not to shadow the front sensors by the helicopter airframe.
your pics are looking good!

Sensor moved back 4.75 inches. Thank you for the tip.
Indoor closeups were taken with my Canon 10D.
Thank you guys for the feedback. :) :glasses2:
