Is your Electron 6 positive shift (JR) or negative shift (Futaba)? You must have a positive shift receiver to work with your JR transmitter. Is the transmitter new, of did you buy it used? Also, you must have the right type of crystal on the same frequency as your transmitter. The electron 6 uses a dual conversion crystal and JR receivers use single conversion crystals. So, if you are trying to use the Electron 6 with a JR crystal it won't work.
