Of course you can save money by reusing the Blade CP Servo's and RX, I just didnt want to screw around with getting an external gyro working.

so is it really small enough to fly in the house or garage? Can you use hs65 servos and a 401 gyro?

morbeious could you tell me pls what diameter is the TR shaft and how the TR hub attaches to the shaft.does it use a set screw?i would like to use the TR assembly except the case on a parkmite wich has kind of soft flimsy plastic parts.thx.

Small enough to fly inside, but I would think twice about using anything but wood blades inside. Carbon might damage furnature in a crash, where woodies would just break off..

Again I'm not expert pilot, someone with more skill might feel comfortable with carbons, inside.

Not sure of the diagmeter of the shaft, will measure when I get home, I can tell you its diameter is smaller than T-rex, cause I thought I could reuse my servo mounts from it, but I was wrong. TR=Trail Rotor assembly attaches with 5 screws, no set screw or notch is use to lock into the shaft, the plasitc is also very week, I broke the backend screw holder while putting in screw. I was still able to fly after bonding it though, I'll be ordering the metal tail soon.

i guess there is an se version that uses all metal parts.there is a complete metal tail assembly on helidirect's site that i was planning to try and use.tail rotor grips, hub, slider and arm.adapt it somehow to the parkmite tailcase and shaft.or if the shafts are identical in diameter use the one from the hdx also.parkmite's tail rotor hub attaches by screweing it.it's threaded in the reverse of the direction of rotation of the shaft.i guess i'll just by one and see if i can make it happen.thx for the reply.
