I posted this under the battery section but since some of you recommended me to purchase the Moli's, I figured I should also post it here:

Just charged my 6s Moli Battery pack for the first time with the TP-1010C and THP-210V charger / balancer. Thank you for the help Will!

I set it up to charge a 6s Moli pack at C=1.5A. When I came back to check it later, the red balancer lights were flahsing. They were flahsing pretty randomly and have no idea what I did wrong or what the problem is. The "instructions" do not really seem to cover what the problem is unless what is wrong is the cells have an imbalance over .2V. Is this the problem and if so, how do I fix it?

Can anyone help? Thanks!

The "random" flashing is indicating that the balancing is taking place. This is perfectly normal. You can check the ongoing progress by holding down the select button for a second and the display will show the voltage for the two cells with the highest and lowest values. With eMolis, the difference is usually around .015 to .02V.

Thanks Gary. Also, is there a maximum voltage that you should neve exceed? If I recall the instructions correctly (i'm a work right now), it says that the average cell voltage should not exceed 4.3 (or something around there). I remember from last night that my average was like 4.48V or 4.5V. Is that ok or will I damage my cells?

Thanks!

4.2v for lithiums per cell. 4.5 seems wrong.

No way it was 4.5V per cell. Your math is off. The charger shuts down above 4.3V. After a fresh charge the highest I've seen an eMoli get to is about 4.15V.

Ok then. I will go retry right now and repost later. Thanks for the info!

Ok, I rechecked the Charger info. after plugging the pack in.

I'm an idiot. I read them as 4.48 when it actually reads 4.048. Dohhh!!! :arggg:
I never did like decimals.

Thanks again!
