What ESC do you use on your Trex 250 Stock or other?

I'm running a separate Medusa 5A BEC in conjunction with the stock ESC, this takes quite a load off the ESC, hopefully avoiding any of the integrated stock BEC related heat failures you read of.

I would love to try out a mini jazz, I have jazz's in my 450 and 500 and think they are the best thing since sliced bread.

thanks for the link, although the spec states that the BEC is only rated to 1.5A, although they also clearly state it would be suitable for a 250.
Has anyone measured or have any ideas as to the BEC Current (A) which is typical for a 250 stock setup?

I have only ever flown my 250 with no governor, due to the bad rap the stock ESC gov gets...Is a quality governed 250 heli much more of a pleasure to loop & roll? I don't do any hard 3D, just mild 3D & sports, but flying on the phoenix sim using a governed 90 class heli I do notice a much smoother transition between 3D movements as opposed to it being ungoverned, does this effect translate to real life, & would it be pronounced enough to make a difference on a 250? Basically if a governed 250 improves like a simmed .90 does I'd definately look at getting myself the mini-jazz for it's governer alone.

Also running scorpion 3900 with stock ESC but the other day it stop and went into a brown out were the motor stop but servos still work so i though it was the ESC but it turns out to be the reciver i use the AR6100.You could spool it up and and turn the controls and it would stop and reciver would to flash. So i tried the reciver in my other 250 and it work fine i have not been abel to put it together to test fly but i hope it is the reciver and not ESC. I have had 3 reciver fail on me. Has any one had something like this happen?
