It says to to push both ends of the flybar cage toward the center and then tighten down the grub screws, but I still have about 1mm of movement when I try and move the fly bar back and forth what are you all getting?

Hmmm very odd... The Hirobo stuff is very quality here and mine fit prefect. Take it apart and make sure you have everything set up right!
There should not be a gap here.

I found the same thing. Still a little gap even if I squeeze tight.

are you sure you have the end pieces of the cage installed correctly?
the fit has been essentially perfect on the Lepton's I've built

Well I supopose tollerances exist that could cause this. It it were me I would file the long link rods of the cage to remove the gap when assmebled.

Mine fit perfectly. Didn't really require that I even pinch the ends together, but of course I did so wehn I tightened the screws anyway (just to be sure). I'd suggest you check (before filing) that you are using the right bolts and that the rod is inserting all the way into the control arm (side piece). Or maybe there is some flashing in the control arm where the link inserts into.

Mine and my Friend's Lepton also had that gap. We just filed the end a little to remove the play.

I had the same play on a brand new SSZ-III head for my Freya!!! I filed down the ends a little and the play went away!! :D Odd for the price!!
