HI, I just recieved a heli in the mail and noticed the stabilizer beam is bent so i got another one! And bear with me here this is my first and and i dont know much about names of parts! and know i am having a hard time getting the old one out! Its off a shuttle with upgraded metal and theres little ballbearing things that are stuck and arent lettiing it slide! There are no screws in them! heres the order of how things are! The (sta.cont) is that thing that connectes to the stabilizer beam on both ends and goes all the way around the shaft! it tilts wen you spin the blades! (b.b) is ball bearing thingly!

Shaft) (sta.cont)(b.b) (main shaft) (b.b)(sta.cont)(shaft)

Also one other thing! The (sta.cont) isnt the factory one(the hole top it upgraded) and the (sta.cont) is two pieces that connect at the rods that go down but for somereason they keep pulling out(its just a slot they slide int, no screw or anything) how would i go about fixing this? would like contact cement do it?

If anyone can help me at all it would be greatly appreiciated!

typically the set screws in the stabilizer control arms leave a divot in the stabilizer bar (flybar). the divot distorts the flybar enoughit will not fit through the ball bearings of teh see saw (the tube the flybar fits in, with teh ball bearings in it.) The secret is to remove the control arm and use a dremel or even some sand paper to grind the divot smooth again so it will fit through the see saw.

One other thing. If the fly bar is not bent terribly bad, it will fly just fine, you can tweak them back into alignment, and run them. Now if it is bent off at a 45º angle, it will need replaced.
