Have a Raptor 50 converted to electric. Am a newbie (I know). 9chp Futaba 401 gyro. Have tried everything under the sun to get the gyro from causing the thing to rudder out of control one way or the other. If I reverse the gyro I simply get it spinning in the opposite direction.

Might also help for me to know exactly how I'm supposed to set up the rudder servo etc. Should start with some pitch? How much, swash was easy, just made it level. Where do I start with the rudder travel?

Also, sounds like not floppy but loose enough that the blades almost fall under their own weight is the way to go with both main and rear blades?

Anyone familiar with electric setup sr-3 with futaba 9chp for above model with hacker 16s brushless, I'll take all and any help I can get.

Also using phoenix 85 esc and bec. 2 6p emolis for power.

Thanks,

Ethan

The raptor should hover comfortably with 4.5 mm between the tail pitch slider and the tail case that will give you a good starting point.

That gives you about 4 degrees of pitch.

Aside from finless also check out http://www.raptortechnique.com

Is that electric conversion also CCPM?
