Hayhay everyone. First post. Lots of info on hear. I cant fund much if if a Futaba Gy401 gyro will work with the regualr factory 2006 walkera 36 V2.
I order it (New to bird, im kinda compulsive)
Find out that everyone say to replace the gyro at minum, and saw alot of people recopmmending the GY401.
Few seconds ago I ran across a scarce forums saying that it wont work with the factory bird?
any info is greatly appreciated on what I must do to remidy this or get this setup working properly? If there is any conflicts.
Thanks for any info!

I havea walkera 35 which is a lot alike the 36. The standard gyro (if it is the silver- chorome one) is not doing his job properly so actually you should change it.
I dont know if a GY401 isnt good, but i dont thinck its necessary at this kind of heli. I use a GWS Piezo PG-03 which is more than enough for this kind of heli...If you have a better helicopter, more expensive of course you will want to use the GY401.

GWS Piezo PG-03, gunna have to get on of those. I read a good gyro can make a world of diffrence on any bird.
Thanks for the input!

The PG-03 isnt a very good gyro. It's just a gyro that does its job. It's very cheap too.
You will notice that if you do fast throttle actions the tail will drift. But it shore is much, much better than the standard one wich actually doesn't work.
You know what i'm gonna say this the perfect way: It's as "good" as the helicopter. :)

Hayhay. I took a diffrent root. I went with the GY240 Futaba Gyro with SMM Technology. Dint need the extra channel and works good.
Ow I upgraded some servos. And TrexSE tail with a Full meatle top assembly. She flys much better now :) If I had to do it again, It would not be walkera. Then again I was cumpulsive and dint find this forum prior to purches. *sigh* :(
Thanks for the input!
