Questions on Logo 10

Hey everyone,

I've been flying Trex 450 SE for several months. I received some misc parts from a trade and was wondering if I can use them in a Logo 10. I have a Kontroniks Fun 600-15 w/ 14t Joker pinion, Hitec Supreme 8 channel Rx, 4 Hitec 425BB servos, and Medusa 3.5amp high voltage 6v BEC.

Will the above work in a Logo 10? If so, what size Lipo would I need and what ESC?

Also, I know nothing about the Logo 10 such as how long has it been out, are parts going to be around for awhile, etc. Also if there is something better suited for the gear I have and someone moving up from Trex, let me know!

Hi Eric, If you decide on a logo I am sure you will love how it flies. Very stable and well built helis. You should not have to much trouble finding parts. Seems like there are more and more logo parts dealers poping up in the US. I have had real good luck with FX Aero and Esprit.

As for your equipment, yes you can use a Fun 600-15, many people use it. It may not be the hottest 3d motor for a logo but it will definately work. I would suggest using it with 5s lipos and depending on how you want to fly a 13t = aprox 1750 rpm headspeed all the way up to a 16t and aprox. 2150rpm.

1600-1700rpm for basic flying, light acrobatics
2100-2200rpm for heavy 3d- very responsive
That should give you a basic idea for the logos.
As for your pinion and radio gear I will have to let someone else help with that, I am not as familiar with hitec stuff. The medusa should work though.

I am kind of partial to the kontronic jazz controllers but a lot of people have been using Castle Creations too with good results. You will want one in the 50A. range for a 5s set up. I use the jazz 55-10-32.
