I know the Blade community is pretty small here on the Freak, but this is my favorite forum for the Rex so I wanted to post this video on the Blade for anyone that browses here. I have read a lot of mixed reviews on the G90 gyro for the Blade Pro. I am still only learning myself. I posted a video to show how well it has been working for me. Take a look for yourself and make your own judgement.

This is a Blade Pro with stock main and tail motors running off the 3 in 1. Stock gearing, main and tail blades. I am running a different receiver but without any revo mix or anything that should make a difference between this and a stock remote for tail performance (besides saving lots of money on AA batteries in the TX).

Hope this helps anyone wondering how much of a difference that HH gyro really makes.

Did you just plug you g90 to your rudder channel ..then the rudder cable to the gyro and thats it...im having problems..everytime i connect the g90 my main motor only starts to spin at1/2 to 3/4 throttle and starts really abruptly..and without the g90 everything goes fine..i can control the speed of the motor...any thoughts?

Do you absoluty have to have the 5th channel plugged in...cause thats the only way i can control the main motor speed?

Well, I can use my BCP without touching the left stick too. As long as I don't move it up either :) Wish I could just connect an HH to the 4-in-1. Eventually I intend to go separates and BL, but it's flying so good right now I haven't bothered. I don't think my rex is even that stable. Pretty sweet.

Sikorskys76, Yes, that is how mine is plugged in. My tail doesnt start either until just before takeoff. I think this is because there is no more proportional motor mixing. The tail doenst kick on until the main rotor has enough force to try to turn the helicopter.

You don't have to use the 5th channel remote gain. If you don't plug it in you can use the gain on the gyro itself instead.

I bought the E-Flite speed controller and Brushless motor today that is recommended in the Pro's manual. I am anxious to see how well the gyro keeps up with the stock tail.
