Hi,

Had an interesting experience yesterday. I was flying my Logo 10 3D and in the middle of a piro flip I heard a TING sound. After that it felt kind of mushy to fly and I did a couple calm circuits to see if anything was wrong and decided to land it. When I checked the head I was very surprised to see that one of the links from the washout arms to flybar was missing (the one with a bent link on it) and the flybar did not respond to cyclic/pitch movements at all.

The good news is of course that your Logos are flyable without these links

I am not sure how this works, but I guess the paddles keept the flybar level while the two links from the swash to the blade holders would provide enough pitch changes to make it controlable?

Tried to find the missing link to see if it just fell off or if it was broken but no luck with that. I had noticed that they where a bit sloppy and was about to change them but figured they would hold up for a couple more flights...

Yeah, it have happened to me on another brand of heli.

The flybar want by default be leveled (rotation force make it), so you will get a more "sluggish" heli when it happens.

That is indeed amazing Lorents. Thanks goodness you were able to bring it in with no harm. :smokin:

Lucky! This happened to me a long time ago (prior to the new flybar bridge) and the "loose wire" part of the link hit something and wrapped up the rest of the links on the head... All those "wrapped tight" bent links sure handeled funny. I managed to hit upright and not too hard, so it did minimal damage.
