Has anyone had issues with slow shipping time with East Cost Extreme Helis? I made an order from them last thursday (because my normal supplier didn't carry Infinavation). I received an email from UPS on Friday saying they had received billing information for the shipment, but according to the UPS site the order still hasn't shipped.
I sent them an email yesterday asking for status, but waiting a week to make a shipment is not acceptable by today's standards.
Is this a fluke, or are these guys known for slow shipping.

Definite fluke.
I have received many orders from East Coast with out a problem.
Give em a call. Its way better than an email.

Email is definitely VERY unreliable, I can attest to that. Ask all the many people who register for this site but never get the confirmation email. :DOH Probably at least 50+% of them I can show our server logs showing their providers accepting the mail for delivery, and then it hits a black hole or something???
Dino is a good guy, I'm sure he would have already responded if he got the email.

Since I sent the mail late last night, I'm not concerned that he hasn't replied to the email just yet. I'm just a bit miffed that the order hasn't been shipped after a week. I guess I'm spoiled by all the speedy outfits that ship same-day.

Give them a call, Tom or Dino will answer or give you a call right back. It's unusual to have an issue from them.

just a note i have been out for some time with a double hernia, and i am recovering from one operation know, plus trying to make sure that both my business are up and running are more than meets the eye. I am also involved in getting the best FF for the east coast ready, so please bare with me i will handle all your needs, one small note i do not work weekends email is the best way on sat and Sunday or leave a message i will call back by Sunday night or Monday mornings thanks again Dino

Its been two weeks now since I made the order and haven't received status. I did receive an email asking for the order number (which I supplied).

I now see the site says they will be closed from Aug 30th to Sept 12th. I placed my order on August 24th. I understand he has a lot going on at the moment, but if he was not able to fulfill my order in a timely manner, he shoudln't have accepted the order and already charged me for the unshipped parts. I'm not impressed...

I know Dino has been recovering from some very tough to quickly recover from surgery. Hang in there a little longer and I'm sure he will take good care of you. If you can't wait, cancel and order elsewhere.
I know what it is like to recover from surgery and sometimes things don't go as planned.

I understand unexpected things crop up. I do believe however, that if a company cares about having top-notch customer service they will have plans already in place to prevent things like this from happening.

I know Dino. I delt with him many times. He is a good person to deal with. Some times though unexpected things happen. I have an order placed before you did yours; I haven't received it yet.

Thanks for the comment Rada. The reason I'm not getting entireley bent out of shape and calling the BBB, my CC company, and the National Guard (they're all deployed anyway) is I'm not really worried I'll getting ripped off. I'm confident I'll get my items...eventually.
