New Member and mx400pro newbie.... Radio setup help needed??

Hello,

Im a new member and have a few questions about my new heli. I just bought a mx400pro and would like to know if there are anything I need to know in helping me set-up my heli? I bought the Futaba 6EXH PCM with the S3103 servos and the GY401 gyro. What would be the best Lipo battery to use? Thanks for any help in advance :lol:

I assume you have the HeliMax motor and ESC. Most of us are using 3 cell 2100 MAH batteries. I use ThunderPower brand. A number of folks are using APEX and Align packs in the 2100 range as well.

A 2100 pack should get you about 10 minutes of standard flight. If you push hard 3D, maybe 7 to 8 minutes.

I am not familiar with the radio and servos you have but, they are probably fine. I use HS-65MG (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&P=WR&I=LXLGJ5) servos and a Spektrumized JR radio. (I modified a JR XP6102 radio with the transmitter from a Spektrum DX6).

The Futaba GY401 is a very popular gyro for 400 sized helis.

I have been looking for batteries and a charger. Is the Align RCC-3CX a good charger for me to start of with? Also I was looking at the Align 3s 2100 16c battery. Would this be a good combo? Thanks again... :noteworthy

Today I ordered the Align RCC-3CX charger and a Align 3s 2100 16c battery from GrandRC. I hope this combo will work out alright?? Does anyone know about how long it will take to charge a battery using this charger?? Thanks again for everybodys help... :lol: :lol:

Well as you know Im new to this whole Heli Thing. :dontknow Does anyone have a reference chart that I could use for setting up my Futaba 6EXH PCM radio? I really don't have a clue on where to start. Thanks for any help I can get.... :glasses2:
