Firstly, I would like to thank Wayne, David, and everyone who replied to my earlier posts about not being able to get my engine to line up right. I would get it right, but after a few flights, it would be out of whack. I found the real problem.
The clutch driver came apart. :arggg:
I am done with this heli for a little while. No bash against MA, you guys make a great heli, but this Fury has been nothing but a thorn in my side. I bought it used, and I kept it because I thought it was the better of the two I had. I was wrong. I have so much stuff, and I am going to draw the line here. I am done with this heli for a while.
Mabey it is just time to cut my losses, and buy a new Stratus.

I feel your frostration, but I have a sugestion. I the rest of the heli is in agood shape, why not just buy a conversion kit. You will need off course an HD clutch though.

I was thinking about the upgrade kit. I would need a HD clutch, the bearing block, the flybar carrier, and a few other small things. I downloaded the manual from the MA website yesterday, and am deciding which way to go. The rest of the heli is mint, I replaced most of it. But, I have a spare YS engine, gyro, servos, everything I would need for a Stratus, and this Fury is nice, carbon frame, and I put so much work into it, it would be a shame to give up. However, I suppose I could sell the frame to help cover the cost of the conversion.

Furyevo, I would sell the Fury and just buy a new Stratus kit, you dont know what else may fail. Add to this that a full kit will ensure you are running all the latest bits and it going to save you time and frustration int he future.
