Light on Futaba Transmitter Charger

When charging my 7CHP transmitter, the light on the charger never goes out, even after 18 + hours on charge. The charge seems to be full, and the Transmitter lasts at least 2 + hours. I have not run it to depletion to test it.
Is this normal?

Yes the llights on the wall wart charger will stay on as long as a battery is plugged into them. There is no timer circuit in the wall wart charger. It will charge the battery as long as the battery is plugged into it. 12 hours is plenty. The wall wart is probably charging at 50mah on the transmitter side.
