delete model

I want to delete a model selection on my 10x. I have looked through the manual with no luck, any suggestions?
I did the data reset, but the space still exists :(

Not familiar with the 10X. But if it is like the Futaba 9Z. Deleting the model with the reset button. Puts the model back to default settings. But the name has to be changed manually. The name probably does not reset back to default.
That is how it works on the 9Z. So I am guessing the JR 10X is set up the same way.

To clear all data from a given model, simply touch the CLEAR
key. The screen will ask ARE YOUR SURE YOU WANT TO
RESET MODEL XX? Touch YES to clear the model or touch
NO to return to the previous screen. If you touch YES, all the
data you have entered will now be cleared and your radio will
return to the factory default settings for that particular model.

Note: The model name (and frequency, if entered) appears on
the initial screen each time the PCM10X is turned on.
Note: If Code 28, Data Reset, has been used, the model name
is also reset.


Doesn't work like the 9Z. So the name should go back to default also.
