well my motor died and i got a more powerful replacement, but i dont think it comes with a pinion so i need a way to remove the 9t pinion from the stock brushed motor.

wrap pinion in rag and get a good pair of pliers , pull straight off? also put a drop of oil or liquid wrench on it first . some times ive needed to use a small punch thing and a hammer

try heating it up with a heat gun first

Get a gear puller tool. Its made for it and you won't break or tweak the motor shaft or ruin a pinion. Mine cost $8, pretty good investment if it saves just one broken motor shaft. I learned the hard way and used brute force on a brand new $80 inrunner, snapped the shaft off at the bearing. Was I ever pissed!! Got a gear puller the next day, have had no problems so far.
