Mikado V-Bar / Mini V-Bar in Outrage 550?

I'm a fan of Mikado's V-Bar / Mini V-Bar products.

Mikado's recommendation of the Mini V-Bar only in heli's smaller than 1 m main rotor diameter is well known. However, I hear in certain circles that some are having fantastic success with the Mini V-Bar in 550 size helis.

My question is: What do you fellow Outrage 550 flyers think: V-Bar or Mini V-Bar for the Outrage 550?

I would be grateful for any first-hand insights you could offer. For those who prefer not to post publicly, please PM your thoughts. I'd be happy to keep them on the down low.

I am building mine FBL... I've heard from many sources the mini-v is just perfect on the 550. I'm holding out for now to see some Skookum SK720 reviews once it is out. I am converting my 500 as well so I'll need 2 units.. hoping for some price drop from Mikado perhaps.

I have a full sized vbar in the 550. Just fine, plenty of room.

OK. Thank you. I suppose it's smartest to follow the directions and go with a full size V-Bar, not the Mini for the Outrage 550.
