Anyone flying Aerrofly Professional Deluxe?

I own Reflex XTR, Real Flight G3 and now Aerofly Professional Deluxe.

I'm torn between all three. All three have photo fields, all three have great physics, etc.

When I first received Aerofly, I was not too impressed. The heli seemed to hover too easy and was too controlable. The speed setting was on 100%. I turned it up to 200% (max) and oh boy, had my hands full.

I turned the speed down to 150% and now it seems to be just right. Very realistic.

It's bugging me to have to plug my 7CHP in for Aerofly and XTR so I have a Futaba 6EXH on order. Heck, that TX would even fly my T-Rex.

Anyway, looking for some input on good ol Aerofly Pro Deluxe. I am only going to keep one sim (heck at $200 a whack... $600).

So far the nod goes to XTR but I think all three are great!

Thanks,
Gary

wcc963,

I prefer XTR over G3 because of the availability of free heli models and free photorealistic backgrounds. I do feel that the physics and simulation is a tad better in XTR as well (obviously an opinion).

XTR also comes with a program to build your own models.

What bugs me about XTR is the red bar no flying areas. I also do not like to use my actual heli radio (wear & tear, battery use, gotta go get it, etc.). So I purchased a cheaper stand alone heli radio just for use with my sims.

G3 pro's are that it comes with the "TX", no batteries (USB power), etc. Physics and photorealistic is nice as well. You have to buy the add-on disks to get additional stuff. Not as easy as XTR.

I do like the hard wood floor gymnasium in G3. All the UK gymnasiums have that white floor looking deal...

Anyway, in my opinion XTR is the winner. But, I like them all so much I'm having a hard time deciding what to part with. I can't justify the cost of owning all three. I think I'll take my time deciding.

Good luck, hope this helped a little.
