I just purchased a G3. The one thing I notice that seems wrong is that the heli in the SIM stays in the attitude last set to. If I aileron right then let the stick snap back to center, the heli stays in the last attitude. That seems wrong compared to real helis I have flow. Cudaboy_71 suggested I go to http://www.trextuning.com/videos.php and download the G3 TREX files, which I did.
I placed them in the G3 main directory as instructed by the instructions, but cannot find it within G3. The instructions say they are under the dolphin 'category'. There is no dolphin category. There are two dolphin entries under the G3 category in the 'select aircraft' button.

Any help would be appreciated.
Oh yeah, how do I raise/lower the landing gear for the Bell 222? It suggests the radios' upper right switch, but that is the idle lock button.

Thanx.

The trex files should go in the planes directory in realflight. On my computer the trex is shown as a trex and in the custom plane section.

The rotary dial is what controls the landing gear on the Bell 222.

I forgot to add the real model helis stay moving in the direction you leave them. This only changes from outside forces like wind or you making corrections on the radio.

OK. I am getting better while using the Dolphin helos. I downloaded a TREX file to operate with the G3 and it is crazy! Out of control! Why would that be so very different from the Dolphin? Is flying one helo to another really like night and day?

Flying a large 60 or 90 sized machine is a lot different then a small electric. The smaller the heli the more twitchy or responsive it becomes. The same goes for lighter helis, even if they are larger birds.

The Belle 222's land gear is controlled by the fully proportional knob on the upper right of the radio. You must have mis-read.
