XP6102, Would like PCM Rx

I currently have a JR 6102 for my Raptor and my T-Rex. My T-Rex came with a crappy Hitec Electron 6 FM rx. I am everyonce in a while having a small glitch and would like to goto PCM modulation. I see that JR offers the 790 Scanselect PCM and used to sell the 770S. Some online stores still offer the 770S PCM. Which reciever will work with my 6102? Which one is better? Will I need a new crystal for the 770S or will the crystal from my hitec FM work?

You can use either reciever with the 6102 the R790 repaced the R770. If you get the R770 you will need to use a JR single conversion crystal the Hitec will not work in it. Most places you order the reciever on the frequency that you need.

I use the UK spec equivilant JR 2610 and use the JR 770S PCM receiver in conjunction with JR crystals, and I have no glitches at all.

You can use a full sized 649 rx in the trex, or you can call around. I know 'the hobby connection' in Easley, SC had one in stock.. www.hobbysc.com
