I'm having trouble with a TT 36 engine set up. Nothing I've read tells you how many turns to start with for the metering screw. I have this thing all messed up and need to start all over but don't know where to begin.

From what I have seen the needles on the TT 36 are blunt tipped. Unless the needles have changed design. I would think about 1.5 turns maybe a little less on the main will be about right. The instructions state 3 turns if I remember correctly. The engine would not even run at 3 turns open from fully closed. Take the main needle out and look at the tip. If it looks like the end of a ball point pen. It is still the blunt tipped needle.
